Agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and onStart ("we", "us" or "our") about your use of MRZ/NFC Scanner. By downloading or using the app, you accept them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.

Who can use the app

You must be at least 18 years old to use the app.

Your license

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to use the app on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use. Your use of the app is also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service.

Purchases

The app offers paid content or features. Purchases are processed by Google Play and are subject to its terms. Prices are shown before you buy, including any taxes Google Play adds. Purchased items are tied to your Google account and can be restored on your other devices.

Refunds

Refunds are handled by Google Play under its refund policy. You can request one from your Google Play order history. This doesn't affect any right to a refund you have under the law of your country.

Acceptable use

When using the app, you agree not to:

• break any law or these terms
• copy, modify, reverse engineer or resell the app, except where the law allows it
• use bots, scripts or other automated means to access the app
• try to gain unauthorized access to the app, its servers or other users' data
• interfere with the app's operation or security

Intellectual property

The app, including its design, text, graphics and code, belongs to onStart or its licensors and is protected by law. These terms don't give you any rights to our trademarks or other intellectual property. If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them without any obligation to you.

Third-party services

The app may link to or rely on services run by others, such as those named in our Privacy Policy. We aren't responsible for those services, and your use of them is subject to their own terms.

Changes to the app

We may update the app, change or remove features, or stop offering it. When we remove a paid feature you are subscribed to, we will tell you and, where the law requires, offer a remedy.

Disclaimer

The app is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, onStart is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profits or revenue, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid us for the app in the twelve months before the claim.

Your rights as a consumer

If you live in the European Union or the United Kingdom, nothing in these terms limits the rights you have under mandatory consumer protection law, and the limits above apply only as far as that law allows.

Ending these terms

You can stop using the app at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if the law requires it, or if we stop offering the app. Sections that by their nature should continue, such as intellectual property, disclaimers and limitation of liability, still apply afterwards.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the country where onStart is established, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be handled by the courts that have jurisdiction under that law, unless the law of the country where you live requires otherwise. Before starting a formal dispute, please contact us so we can try to resolve it.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the app changes. We update the "Last updated" date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the app or by other means. If you keep using the app after changes take effect, you accept the updated terms.
